A Drink With Something In It

There is something about a Martini,
A tingle remarkably pleasant;
A yellow, a mellow Martini;
I wish I had one at present.
There is something about a Martini,
Ere the dining and dancing begin,
And to tell you the truth,
It is not the vermouth—
I think that perhaps it's the gin.

    I still think Ogden Nash is one of the funniest poets...although I tried gin once and it tasted like hair tonic smells

    I loved it

    Madam Ozzy seems to have a "cute" gift. She should enlighten us a little more with some other poems.

    This was soo cute. I love how artist can take the simplist thing, and make a extrodianry poem about it.
