The Perfect Husband

He tells you when you've got on
    too much lipstick
And helps you with your girdle
    when your hips stick.

Interesting look at what makes the perfect husband. I'd never point out if my girlfriend was wearing too much lipstick and i don't know what a girdle is, how useless does that make me? , ah well, im sure i'll make up for it in other ways . Very cute liddle poem, and i see what your saying, it's all the small things that makes a husband perfect, all the little gestures, everything he does to help. Very nicely written. (Also, i must agree with mina nagi, i don't believe there is such thing as an actual perfect husband) c ya, Dan

Aw thats cute. Interesting, short, but cute. I am too young to know what the perfect husband is, but you explained what you think it is very well.

My husband is just that , my husband...as far as too much lipstick, ermmmm does he have a BA in the cosmetic field....and what is a girdle . Fortunately I do not need one , but I believe even if I did , I would not squeeze myself into such a contraption that to please him I take this piece as a humorous tongue in cheek write , and so do not take offense and start lecturing about what I think constitutes the perfect husband....actually I think there is NO such species

Is this a man's perspective of the Perfect Husband? Yes I think so lol
Lipstick I can relate to - girdle - no way. girls how do we make our hips stick?
Such a simplistic view on married life Mr. Nash.
    Made me smile though
