Alfred, Lord Tennyson

Should Heaven send me any son,
I hope he's not like Tennyson.
I'd rather have him play a fiddle
Than rise and bow and speak an idyll.

What was her problem with Tennyson? It was a good poem, I just wish I knew more about what it was about.

Again another piece that could be written has a Limmerick yet at the same apparent time it isn't one, but probably could be worked well as one.

It looks like she as well has a dislike for Tennyson. Now it doesn't speak too well on him or his works (but it does on his works) but it seems like he hates both parts of 'him'.

    Perhaps I am incorrect.
