Of course I love you
but if you love me,
marry a young woman!

I couldn't stand it
to live with a young
man, I being older

    a woman doesn't want to be reminded of her fading beauty, which she inevitably would be in the company of a younger man.

    It makes me wonder if back in the day old women married to younger men were looked down upon. I'm assuming it was so because even now it is perfectly ok to have a 64-year old man dating a 32-year old, but God forbid for an older woman to be with a much younger guy.
    I feel so bad about this icky double standard.

    You know, I don't think the opposite would be true. I think an old man would give his left nut to be with a young woman. So, if a young man wants to be with an older woman I think the older woman should jump at that chance. But, that is me.

    A dark humor piece, I think. A good one here.
