Theology

There is a heaven, for ever, day by day,
The upward longing of my soul doth tell me so.
There is a hell, I'm quite as sure; for pray
If there were not, where would my neighbours go?

the humor of this poem is awesome. i think even non-religous sorts would find this humerous.

    Hillarious

Isn't this horribly true (oxymoron intentional)?? Not to say that I have anything against my 'neighbors' but some people in society... Phew. He handles humor well, too. This would make a nice quotable.

If anyone enjoyed this, I'd reccommend Dunbar's "Dawn". It's not humorous but it's a delightful little poem.
