I AM he that aches with amorous love;
Does the earth gravitate? Does not all matter, aching, attract all
        matter?
So the Body of me, to all I meet, or know.

    Simple and direct. I don't find any metaphor to this, I feel it is just what it is.

    But, to those who read it, or have red it, I am sure they got the impression or will get the impression that Whitman at the time of writing this was butterfly-in-his-stomach-in-love.
