Good - Better - Best

When young, in tones quite positive
   I said, "The world shall see
That I can keep myself from sin;
   A good man I will be."

But when I loved Miss Kate St. Clair
   'Twas thus my musing ran:
"I cannot be compared with her;
   I'll be a better man."

'Twas at the wedding of a friend
   (He married Kate St. Clair)
That I became superlative,
   For I was "best man" there.

    Cute, but I\'ve seen better

    Three Wishes: Grace, Mercy, Peace. On the subject of Good, Better, Best I learned from the Bible what's best. It seems that on the seventh day, an eternal day having no mention of evening and morning, God didn't rest till good got better "blessed" (Rom 4:7 of 7,8), and then not even till everything and everyone got "sanctified" when his angel (Paul) played the last trump it: TgooLJCwya. And a last Amen to that (no mention of law: sin & death at all) is what's best for you all, which begins with you.
