I will not play at tug o' war.
I'd rather play at hug o' war,
Where everyone hugs
Instead of tugs,
Where everyone giggles
And rolls on the rug,
Where everyone kisses,
And everyone grins,
And everyone cuddles,
And everyone wins.

Umm, that's a little too happy huggy for me, lol. How about we just try not to destroy everything in our paths for a change?

Of course it's a serious poem beneath the warm giggles, that desire for equanimity, concordance and civility. But can you imagine a life where everyone played, "hug o'war?"...I think I saw a Twilight Zone episode like that once.

Beautiful
simple and sweet.no one likes war. peace is the only sign of humanity...Ah but peace is always an interval between two wars. Utopia does'nt exist. -
what an ideal life we could have in in fact we did 'hug' and not 'tug'
Written to amuse but a much deeper meaning for me. -

I think that this a GREAT childrens poem! As a child this would have been one of my faves! Great job and in a dark and depressing world it is awesome to see a good outlook and happyness! Great job!
