The moon, alone

The moon, alone,
Taunts me from the heavens
With memories of you;
Should you feel the same, then
Our hearts would be as one

    Oh a beautiful poem , the moon is especially a symbol for lovers, as the full moon seems always to increase the feeling of loneliness and need to be with the beloved, in some ways it does link two hearts who though apart may still be together under the same moon and also joined together with that feeling of longing that both might feel even possibly at the same moment that they view the moon from their different spots. beautifully expressed.

    I like this, but I am taken by the fact that, even in the knowledge that they can be as one, the moon is a taunting presencee - not reassuring...

    I love this, I'm really into short poetry at the minute. I especially love this, so much meaning in such few words. It's really beautiful!!

    Now matter how far, our hearts will be as oneif we feel the same. Some things time will never change.
    I love the way this was written in so few words, and placed under the same moon.

    Very strong piece, complete with emotion and scene.
