Take one's adversity
Learn from their misfortune
Learn from their pain
Believe in something
Believe in yourself
Turn adversity into ambition
Now blossom into wealth

"Believe in something, Believe in yourself". those two lines remind me of the saying "If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything". If you believe in yourself and you can never be dissapointed. Tupac was great in conveying feelings about oppression and adversity. He, through his poetry, touched millions with short poems that had deep and great meaning.
If you look at all the bad that goes on in the world, you should what not to do so when you get the opportunity to promote that change, You will know what to do. -
I've honestly never been interested in Tupac before, but now reading his poetry...he's a very beautiful writer. Very inspirational. Very cool.

I have always felt that 2pac had poeticism in his words, and I once sat in Waldenbooks and read his entire book from the first page to the last and I wish at that time I could have bought it but I couldn't.
Stare 'life' down and you will triumph in the end. That's what I get from this piece; make the struggle and you will win in the outcome. If you don't then you're just pitiful and only have yourself to blame.
A good short piece that 2pac has written here.
