Ah! Sunflower

Ah Sunflower, weary of time,
  Who countest the steps of the sun;
Seeking after that sweet golden clime
  Where the traveller's journey is done;

Where the Youth pined away with desire,
  And the pale virgin shrouded in snow,
Arise from their graves, and aspire
  Where my Sunflower wishes to go!

    Thank you for this site! I am here by accident. The prolonged snows
    of March here in nowhere NH have driven me to the Fugs First Album
    (1965), and I've decided to sing their version of William Blake's
    "Ah! Sunflower" to cheer me up. This brought me serendipitously to
    your website for the poem. I am delighted to find you here and
    receive your aid in resuscitating my languishing soul. Bravo!
