Just Thinking Of You

Watching whitecaps roll into the ocean of blue.
With a smile on my face just thinking of you.
The sweet memories, the tender moments we've shared.
They caress me like the soft breeze that fills the air.
The loving feeling I get when I hold your hand.
The summer night when we walked in the sand.
Waves splashing on the rocks along the shoreline.
Brings tears to my eyes knowing that your mine.
Sharing a love like ours my happy heart sighs.
Watching the violet clouds carelessly floating by.

i love this Jim Morrison is an amazing poet. I have never read this and it shows a good side of Morrison most people dont know. Definatley written for Pam, or Patricia.

He was probably high but definatly not on acid. He was in love with pam it was before he was famious. He was a sweet heart then but then the fame and drugs went to his head.

This peom must have been writen for pamula. Not the norm for morrison, i think he might have not been tripping out on acidz when he wrote it. Very sentimantal and has a timid beauty to it.

Jim Morrison was the man who got me into poetry... Certainly the man who started me writing anyway. I hadn't come across this one yet, it's quite bizarre because it isn't bizarre at all, which doesn't seem at all like him! Nice to know he was happy once, though. Hope he still is, somewhere.
