I feel one to understand the brevity of this piece they'd have to have read a body of Tabb's work .. or perhaps not, but I feel it's accurately true.
not much else to say, didn't find it humorous but jestful in a way, which could relay the same thing I reckon.
A nice piece that Tabb has written here.
