Toothpicks!—were ever sticks
Less "stuck up" in their way!
With upper teeth and those beneath
On equal terms are they.

    Well, where I am from toothpicks are a part of life: the south. I don't feel you'll find a southern families house (and I am not speaking of those who moved from the north to the south to live, I am speaking of actual southerners) without toothpicks, at least none in my family: I even have toothpicks.
