The Sensitive Lobster

He floundered from the breakers cool
Into a boiling pot,
Where, thinking some egregious fool
Had made the water hot,—
Ashamed of such stupidity,
He blushed as red as red could be.

I once worked at this supermarket back in the day (late 90's) and I actually had to put a live lobster in a steamer. I didn't like doing it but it was my job and I did it; despite what some may think I am quite a peaceful person and I do not like or care to 'kill' anything and that would include a lobster or even a flea.

So I get this from the Lobster's point-of-view.

A good piece that Father Tabb has written here.
