A Retort

The Finger complained of the Toe,
And said it was idle and slow;
But it answered in scorn,
"On each foot I grow corn;
What on hand are you able to show?"

    Oh yes, the corn on the toe bit, even in his time I am sure it was over-played, I guess people may have humored him since he was a Priest, or perhaps they too thought it quite endearingly humorous.

    It's nice but that's all I see it for.
