"I have no name;
I am but two days old."
What shall I call thee?
"I happy am,
Joy is my name."
Sweet joy befall thee!
Pretty joy!
Sweet joy, but two days old.
Sweet Joy I call thee:
Thou dost smile,
I sing the while;
Sweet joy befall thee!

I felt this was a wonderful poem by him, I like the ambiguity of Joy- it could be 'Joy is your name' or mean merely an innocent, happy child. I felt something spiritual, the child is happy because of its closeness to God and some naivity, the child will grown and lose its innocence. I love reading Blake for his ambiguity, and this was another great work of his.

This is very beautiful. Simple and melodious. u will feel about this innocent piece of thought as u could feel about your own infancy.
