Limerick: There was a Young Lady Whose Eyes

There was a young lady whose eyes,
were unique as to colour and size;
When she opened them wide,
people all turned aside,
and started away in surprise.

    There was a female friend of Lear
    Whose visage was extremely queer.
    Of eyes she had two
    Just like me and you
    But her mouth was placed at the rear.
    To my mind Lear and Limericks go together like pobbles and toes!!
