Three Rings for the Elven Kings

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

Loved and remembered by a generation who loved the book.
    I loved it!!!An amazing prophecy.

J.R.R. Tolkien is dead, and has been for a LONG time... I've had this poem memorized for a few years now! I wonder if 'All that is gold' is here...

My all time favorite poem, from my favorite author. I was mesmerized with the world of Middle-Earth from childhood, unable to put down the book until it was finished...
