    We always think we are mighty, in some ways, but just a strong windstorm can blow all you HAD away! Imagine the Universe, mysterious big - and you think you are something?

    I found this while bumbling around on the site yesterday. Immediately I printed it, cut out the little verse, and stuck it up on my wall. Written so long ago, but so relevant to our times, makes me realize,

    Man has always been of the nature and opinion that individually we stand taller, broarder and stronger than anyother man, and should be paid attention accordingly. We fail so often to see, that we are all but tiny, short lived cogs in a big, big old wheel.

    Crane hit the bulls-eye

    I am 51 years old. I first read this poem in the ninth grade and it has stayed with me ever since. I wish every able-bodied person dependent on the government for support would read it.
