You say you are holy,

You say you are holy,
And that
Because I have not seen you sin.
Aye, but there are those
Who see you sin, my friend.

I don't as a rule read much poetry. But I stumbled upon this page with a poem by Crane and I've been reading his poems for the last hour (or so). His work reminds me of the best Kafka short short stories. These poems make me smile.

sin...will return to haunt you. Just because you have not seen someone sin, does not imply that he has never sinned.
