Come with me and you'll be
In a world of pure imagination
Take a look and you'll see
Into your imagination
We'll begin with a spin
Trav'ling in the world of my creation
What we'll see will defy
Explanation
{Refrain}
If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Want to change the world, there's nothing to it

To compare with pure imagination
Living there, you'll be free
If you truly wish to be
{Refrain}
There is no life I know
To compare with pure imagination
Living there, you'll be free
If you truly wish to be

not by Roald Dahl...
From guest Joe Kearns (contact)
This song/poem was actually written by Anthony Newley with Leslie Bricusse as an original piece for the Willy Wonka film. Great storyteller Roald Dahl may be, this is not his poem and therefore does not appear in his book. -
fantastic
I love this song. This is probably the best thing out of that old movie adaptation of the book, starring Gene Wilder. -
This too sounds like a song but he's quite right. the wondeful place of 'Imagination' is unique and should be visited regularly.
