Who can take a sunrise, sprinkle it with dew
Cover it in chocolate and a miracle or two
The candy man, the candy man can
The candy man can 'cause he mixes it with love
And makes the world taste good
Who can take a rainbow, wrap it in a sigh
Soak it in the sun and make a strawberry–lemon pie
The candy man?
The candy man, the candy man can
The candy man can 'cause he mixes it with love
And makes the world taste good
Willy Wonka makes everything he bakes
Satisfying and delicious
Talk about your childhood wishes
You can even eat the dishes
Who can take tomorrow, dip it in a dream
Separate the sorrow and collect up all the cream
The candy man, Willy Wonka can, the candy man can
The candy man can 'cause he mixes it with love
And makes the world taste good
And the world tastes good'
Cause the candy man thinks it should
Cover it in chocolate and a miracle or two
The candy man, the candy man can
The candy man can 'cause he mixes it with love
And makes the world taste good
Who can take a rainbow, wrap it in a sigh
Soak it in the sun and make a strawberry–lemon pie
The candy man?
The candy man, the candy man can
The candy man can 'cause he mixes it with love
And makes the world taste good
Willy Wonka makes everything he bakes
Satisfying and delicious
Talk about your childhood wishes
You can even eat the dishes
Who can take tomorrow, dip it in a dream
Separate the sorrow and collect up all the cream
The candy man, Willy Wonka can, the candy man can
The candy man can 'cause he mixes it with love
And makes the world taste good
And the world tastes good'
Cause the candy man thinks it should

To Guest Susan Hopper
Roald Dahl is dead now but I am confident that he would be more than happy to have you use your poem in your project as long as you remind people who wrote it (and maybe where you found it).

The poem is actually a reflection of the rhumanticans of the modern world. Ruminscent of the psychology of the genology of young children and diameterical approach. Actually, I personally disagree with Dahl's view of the fretterings of faternal wisdom. -

Sammy Davis Jnr
I can't 'read' this it always come to me as the song covered by Sammy Davies, with minor changes. It's a lovely sing-song poem and easy to see why it was set to music, I think it was meant to be.
