Tum itna jo muskura rahe ho
Kya gam hai jisko chhupa rahe ho
Tum itna jo muskura rahe ho

Aankhon mein nami, Hansi labon par
Kya haal hai, Kya dikha rahe ho

Ban jayenge zahar peete peete
Yeh ashk jo peeye ja rahe ho

Jin zakhmon ko waqt bhar chala hai
Tum kyon unhi chhede ja rahe ho

Rekhaon ka khel hai muquddar
Rekhaon se maat kha rahe ho

Translation

You're smiling too much much,
What sorrow are you hiding?
You're smiling too much much.

Your eyes are moist, but lips are smiling,
What are you feeling, what are you portraying?

They will become poison while drinking,
the tears that you continue to drink.

Wounds, which have been filled by time,
Why are you trying to draw fresh blood?

Destiny is a game of the palm,
You're suffering defeat at its hands.
