Self-pity

I never saw a wild thing
sorry for itself.
A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough
without ever having felt sorry for itself.

    This too is my favourite by D.H.Lawrence, there's just so much meaning that inspires the soul with hope, the fact that if living creatures can move on without pity, why can't we?

    This is my all time favorite write by DH.. Something about it echoes in my very soul.. Do you all have listed that it came from his book Pansies 1929 ? I am gonna go and roam now.. Nice to have found it.. Shew I got worried for a minute , Catressa
