Pippa's Song

The year's at the spring,
And day's at the morn;
Morning's at seven;
The hill-side's dew-pearled;
The lark's on the wing;
The snail's on the thorn;
God's in his Heaven --
All's right with the world!

    If we look closely around us at the break of morning we too can see that God has all in order, and we take it so much for granted. I love the positive note of this write. As if to say, even though my life is full of hardship, all is provided for my good...if I take a moment and notice...Lovely.

    all's right?

    This poem has a very beautiful, simple yet philosophical melody, the melody of nature.
    This is what -- Frederick Buechner, said about these lines by the rhyme master Browning…
    “ 'God's in His Heaven, all's right with the world,' Robert Browning wrote, and the psalm is not saying that any more than you or I can say it either. Whoever wrote it had walked through the valley of the shadow the way one way or another you and I have walked there too. He says so himself. He believed that God was in his Heaven despite the fact that he knew as well as we do that all was far from right with the world. And he believed that God was like a shepherd. …”
    Well there is a lot to be written about God and gods but I think something should be written about Humans, great men like Albert Einstein, Sir Isaac Newton, and of course Robert browning.
