The Song Of Despair

You swallowed everything, like distance.
Like the sea, like time.
In you everything sank!
It was the happy hour of assault and the kiss.
The hour of the spell that blazed like a lighthouse.
Pilot's dread, fury of a blind diver,
turbulent drunkenness of love,
in you everything sank!

I can see a storm at sea being blamed on everyone. I love it. It's so inspirational. "You swallowed everything, like distance." I think it was Kant that said space didn't even exist at all. It really rings home in this piece. Can people make things not exist at all?
