I always loved this poem after seeing it for the first time when I picked up 'Salem Lot' by Stephen King. The poem always seem to wash over me with it's Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come. The second stanza really reminds me of that with such lines as:
Take from the dresser of deal.
Lacking the three glass knobs, that sheet
Reminds me of when the people are displaying their lot of items that they stole from his room with him laying their. Especially the bit about the woman stealing the sheet off of him lying their.

Reminds me at the beginning of it when they are describing how dead Marley is.
Truly, a bittersweet dish to partake in.
