I wish to leave the world

I wish to leave the world
By its natural door;
In my tomb of green leaves
They are to carry me to die.
Do not put me in the dark
To die like a traitor;
I am good, and like a good thing
I will die with my face to the sun

    Not a good THING!

    From guest Leo Kowald (contact)
    I want to leave the world
    passing by the nature's door
    on a chariot of green leaves
    they shall carry me to die.

    Do not put me like a traitor
    to die into the dark.
    I am good, and like a good I want to die:
    Face to the sun!

    Thank you for your interpretation but your penultimate line seems to contain a typo.
