Starry Night

A creative heart, obsessed with satisfying
this dormant and uncaring society
you have given them the stars at night
and u have given them
Bountiful Bouquets of Sunflowers
but 4 u there is only contempt
and though u pour yourself into that fame
and present it so proudly this world
could not accept your masterpieces
from the heart.
So on that starry night u gave 2 us
and u took away from us
the one thing we never acknowledged
your life.

i think this poem also relates to himself aswell as van Gogh refering to the world just judging him on his controversasy and not really understanding and appeciating him and his work

That's a beautiful poem. I'm doing a research project on van Gogh, and this poem really takes them all.

2Pacs Love For Starry Night Song

    From guest Rob Harrison (contact)
Many of his fans would be surprised to know how moved the song "Starry Starry Night" by Don Mc Lean affected him. It is well known that he was often in tears, after listening to these beautiful words about the misunderstood artist Vincent Van Gogh. Indeed, Pac was a true artist and could certainly imagine how the painter must have felt on that starry night. God rest his Soul.
