before u came the triangle never broke.
we were bonded and melded as one,
but as the 2 pushed u away,
the one got weak and embraced u
and now u r ripping us apart,
the worst feeling of helplessness,
the greatest pain has rested in my heart,
the vision of heaven fades and the
nightmare of loneliness has started,
my hero has been defeated by you
and now what can i do,
watch as u destroy us
and our love is finally through,
i know the worst is here i feel it in my heart
u got into the circle now you're tearing us apart.

The "hero" Tupac is talking about is his mother. If you read another one of his poems "When Your Hero Falls" which is dedicated to his mum, this will give you a better insight. -
"the vision of heaven fades and the
nightmare of loneliness has started" - i really liked these two lines and the contrast of something [good] ending and something [bad] beginning. The criss cross effect.
I wonder, [if anyone knows], who is the "hero" he is talking about??
total curiosiyt, really

To Rianna Bear (and other readers)
My interpretation of this may seem a bit odd but it is as follows. . .
A couple in love decide to try drugs and thus become a trio (triangle Him, Her, crack)
They try to give it up together (2 pushed u [crack] away)
One (him or her) was weak and could not quit
This forced the other away.
