    It seems this guy was into TXT speak before it was thought of by the phone people. it's amazing how his profanity comes screaming off the page even in this offering.
    Cummings was definitely a marvel in the use of the alphabet if not the language!!

    Mimickry at it's best. think he's actually writing a conversation from a drunk speaking of the war. He isn't getting his point across, raising his voice: LISN bud LISN then goes on to say how 'we' are going to civilize the Japanese. Never know what to expect from this man's poetry.

    This one is great, we studied this poem in my English class. I like how Cumming wrote this. He portays the person who are trying to civilize the "savages" in such a way that makes them sound uncivilized themselves. This peom has a lot of meaning, and he conveyed his meaning in a wonderful satrial/patroninzing way.
