Moonlight, summer moonlight

'Tis moonlight, summer moonlight,
All soft and still and fair;
The solemn hour of midnight
Breathes sweet thoughts everywhere,

But most where trees are sending
Their breezy boughs on high,
Or stooping low are lending
A shelter from the sky.

And there in those wild bowers
A lovely form is laid;
Green grass and dew-steeped flowers
Wave gently round her head.

    It is very simple and beautiful.. gives an impression of the Romantic Poets and their poetry.. or it could be merely studying getting to me.
    Anyways, I loved this one too..
    Her rhymes and her choice of words is very simple.. I love simplicity.. I wonder why people tend to write some difficult and head-aching things

    A beautiful poem with good rhyme I liked the alliteration and almost spiritual feel to this poem The first stanza seemed to mix the 'solemn' with joy, 'sweet thoughts'. This was a beautiful poem
