A Dog After Love

After you left me
I let a dog smell at
My chest and my belly. It will fill its nose
And set out to find you.

I hope it will tear the
Testicles of your lover and bite off his penis
Or at least
Will bring me your stockings between his teeth.

Poetic revenge at it's best. A dog after love is certainly not a dog to be messed with. I loved this poem. It says a lot in only a few short lines. Avril

A bit of poetic revenge. Expresses the almost murderous first anger felt at the outset of a breakup, but with a sly humor.

Ok, this piece was quite different than the other pieces I have read here today. The ending surprised the hell out of me, the beginning I didn't like too much but the ending summed it up for me - obviously.

It's a nice piece, but, I was surprised at the ending I must say.

very funny - the images are a little gruesome but the passionate feeling behind them is understandable (I think).

LMAO! This is just TOO DAMN FUNNY! I could picture the scene...a man, his dog...and the unsuspecting two-some he is going to find!

It has an almost sardonic tone to this piece...and speaks so conversationally that it is almost a snicker! I loved this one.
