When The Cows Come Home The Milk Is Coming

When the cows come home the milk is coming,
Honey's made while the bees are humming;
Duck and drake on the rushy lake,
And the deer live safe in the breezy brake;
And timid, funny, brisk little bunny,
Winks his nose and sits all sunny.

    Aww bless, so sweet, reminds me of my days when I was a kid living in the country watching the cows go home ready to be milked, and watching the little honey bees flying around, makes me yearn for those days.......

    Simple, but vivid descriptions. It makes me think of a farm. The deer live safe line speaks to me, living in a hunter dominated environment. This is a great poem.
