  • I really like the form of this poem and the way it is worded makes it flow so well and with such a gentleness but yet I felt a sense of melancholy as well. This is my first poem that I have read from the Old Poetry site so please forgive my ignorance of it's form but I really enjoyed reading this. Such a simple subject but yet a more profound meaning I feel.

    This was a beautiful piece of poetry. I love the take on two souls capturing the Christmas Spirit together and taking flight in song. That painted such a beautiful image for me to see.
