  • Although seemingly nonsensical at first, this poem is actually a sonnet that demonstrates how politicians sometimes do the thinking for us. "they did not stop to think" - amidst the rambling words of the politician, nothing important is said. The words merely evoke a sense of duty to fool people into rushing off to war.

  • Not quite the kind of poem I expected to have been written so long ago. It's rallying people in the future to rekindle the spirit of poetry (not that it's ever gone out though)
