I believe he was writting about a mermaid. Am I right? Well that is the image I had formed into my head. That of a lonely mermaid singing to the shore looking for a mate, but alas the sailor is too late.

on Scrub Cattle by Norma L Davies, on March 1, 2004What beautiful imagery this has. A complete tale of a rainy day on the prairie. I swear I could almost see Laura Ingalls Wilder. To bad the smell coming out does not smell the same going in.Just a thought.
