on Brink Of Eternity by Rabindranath Tagore, on April 21, 2006
masterpiece
This poem brought tears to my eyes...feeling the sorrow of a lost loved one, and knowing the only solution is in dissolution, for I can never forget...how could he express it so completely? -
on Voices Of The Night : A Psalm Of Life by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, on April 19, 2006
sublime
I know this poem is a deep truth, and it echoes in my heart. -
on Look To This Day by Kalidasa, on April 19, 2006
excellent!
I love this poem of Kalidas; it succinctly states the importance of being in the present, fully, and how magnificent the effect of that would be. I felt uplifted.

stupendous
here he is saying succinctly that the mysterious source of creativity in his life started in his early childhoon, drawn out from the depths of his soul by nature, a nature colored by his own mind's perceptions. It is such a profoundly simple statement that speaks on multiple levels. True poetic genius. I think he had, from the first, a difficult childhoonand and troubled. Perhaps his genius arose to help him survive this world. Well, I think that we all have the muse in us, that can arise and help us see ourselves, and the world, in a way that can connect us to others and help us make sense of what ordinarily we can't understand. Poe just showed us the way, a path we can all travel. Poe was one of the first great poets to draw me out of myself and make me think. A true pathfinder.
