Poems about Nature

The Antiseptic Baby and the Prophylactic Pup Were playing in the garden when the Bunny gamboled up;
To what can our life on earth be likened?
To a flock of geese,
The year's at the spring,
And day's at the morn;
What do you think I saw to-day when I arose at dawn?
Sun-flowers, stop growing!
If you touch the sky where those clouds are passing
By homestead, hut, and shearing-shed,
By railroad, coach, and track --
When Christmas comes the Christmas heat'll
bring once more the Christmas Beetle
I
The God of Love--"ah, benedicite!"
"On the departure of rainy season bechanced is autumn with a heart-pleasingly bloomed lotus as her face, betokening the heart-pleasing face of a new bride, and
The snowfall is so silent,
so slow,
We found one evening, in the scrub,
a road the timber-getters made,
The room was suddenly rich and the great
bay-window was
Lo! in the paintedoriel of the West,
Whose panes the sunken sun incarnadines,
The Yangtze flows east
Washing away
THE snow had begun in the gloaming, And busily all the night
One must have a mind of winter To regard the frost and the boughs
A caterpillar,
this deep in fall--
Midsummer noon: and the timbered walls
start in the heat;
I feel the spring far off, far off, The faint, far scent of bud and leaf --
The greatest show on Earth
(non stop twenty four hours around the world)
Swift with the dawn she rises, quick and cold,
Rattling the pebbles with her silver shoon,
Who fares to find the sunset ere it fly, Turning to light and fire the further west,
The bay is gouged by the wind.
In the jagged hollows green lions crouch
It's September, and the orchards are afire with red and gold, And the nights with dew are heavy, and the morning's sharp with cold;
En la playa he encontrado un caracol de oro macizo y recamado de las perlas más finas;
‘Ithin the woodlands, flow’ry gleaded,
By the woak tree’s mossy moot,
Let us remember Spring will come again To the scorched, blackened woods, where the wounded trees
The ghost am I
Of winds that die
Suddenly the grass before my feet
shakes and becomes alive.
