  i think he is a distant relative of ghandi.
  he was a poet laurete and from his poem where the bangladesh national anthem was copied. (pls correct me if my wrong.)

  Look To This Day... in other books it's title is Salutation To The Dawn..
  When I read the name of Kalidasa.. i immediately looked for this one.. i made a classroom demo teaching before during my intership.
  this poem was my subject matter..
  i found it so very inspiring,encouraging substantial.

  i remembered during my college years..this was the subject of the demo teaching of my classmate. everybody was astonished by this poem. since then..christina goergina rossetti has been one of our/my favorite.
