on The Autumn by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, on May 7The imagery in this poem puts the reader right in the core of the poets thoughts. The rhyme is wonderful, how well she has bought a 3D effect to the piece with the words she has penned here. I wish I had come here long before now, what an inspiration!

on The Eagle by Alfred Lord Tennyson, on May 7This is a short poem, yet the imagery is very vivid, leaving a lasting impression on the mind.

SPEECHLESS!
This has to be THE BEST poem I have read of Longfellow! Reading the words is as if what the poet is seeing in the mind and feels in his heart is actually happening to myself. There is so much feeling in this, it wraps itself around one like a clinging cloak.
Magnificient!
